Provided for Review: I'm From Magnolia Wake Essence

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the I'm From Magnolia Wake Essence! This Essence wasn't technically sent to me for review, but Wishtrend offers coupons to try out (and obviously promote) new items for only the price of the postage. This gives me the freedom to talk about products I like and ignore the products that either are not interesting, not suited for my skin, or just don't work for me. Since I liked the Ginseng Serum from the same brand so much, I really wanted to try out more from the line!
The Magnolia Water Essence is formulated with 69% magnolia water from the Sobaek Mountains of Korea for the splash of nature your skin needs to start the day feeling refreshed. Give your skin the natural boost it needs for a brighter day. The Magnolia Wake Essence brightens the complexion while hydrating the skin deeply to restore energy so you could start your day feeling refreshed. Start your day with a touch of spring and bask in the gentle scent of flower petals with the Magnolia Wake Essence.

Magnolia Kobus Branch/Flower/ Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Methyl Gluceth-20, Alcohol, Water, Niacinamide, Dimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Veronica Officinalis Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract, Primula Veris Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Polyquaternium-51, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Methyl Stearoyl Taurate, Sodium Hydroxide, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

This serum has pretty and functional packaging. It comes with a dropper top which works well 50% of the time, but I'm still happy it comes with a dropper top. The serum itself has a cloudy pale colour and a heavy scent. It's very floral (unsurprising since it contains 69% Magnolia Water) but I really enjoy the scent.

I use a dropper full of this essence morning and night after 6 layers of toner and the Cosrx Snail Essence. I find it easy to apply and it absorbs fairly quickly. Since it is a thick essence it does take a couple of seconds to sink in, but I don't find it too time consuming or problematic.

This Essences' main function is to hydrate and brighten. I find that it hydrates beautifully, but I wouldn't say that it brightens at all.

Since it's quite difficult to see the before and after of the effect I took photos before I started using this essence. After continued use of this essence my skin is consistently more hydrated, firmer, and softer. The results are very similar to the Ginseng Serum, but I think the Ginseng Serum is more effective.

What I Love
- Fairly inexpensive at $27.90
- Pretty, functional packaging
- Heavy floral scent
- Easy to apply
- Hydrates beautifully

What I Don't Love
- Doesn't brighten

Final Thoughts
I enjoy using this Essence, but I think the Ginseng Serum from the same brand does a similar and better job. I enjoy the scent, application and benefits that this Essence provides, but I am slightly disappointed that it's not really that different to the Ginseng Serum. However, it does smell really beautiful, and it hydrates well too! I enjoy using this essence and will continue to use it until I have finished it, but I would not repurchase because I found the Ginseng Serum to work better for my skin.

I would recommend the I'm From Magnolia Wake Essence to any Princesses looking for a hydrating essence that smells lovely and hydrates beautifully.
