Review: Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask! I'm always on the hunt for a good sleeping mask and I hear quite a lot of good things about the Cosrx masks, so I ended up getting the full size of the Rice mask and a sample set of the Honey mask which I'm not going to talk about today, but did quite like.

Still fighting uneven, blotchy skin tone? Worry no more, the Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask is here ! With a gentle but effective formula that includes more than 68.9% rice extract, the Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask is designed to brighten, nourish, and hydrate while you get you beauty sleep to transform your skin tone overnight.
I have an older version of this mask which comes in a cute little tub, but these days it comes in a squeeze tube which is so much more hygienic. The mask itself is which in colour and has a thin, slippery gel like texture. I find it really easy to spread out on my skin, it absorbs fairly quickly and smells quite nice too.
There are three ways that you can use this mask. The first way to use it is as your traditional sleeping mask, this goes on at the end of your night time routine to lock the moisture of your other skincare products in. The second way is to use it as a day time moisturiser, and the third way is to use it as a wash off mask which I think is quite wasteful of product.
When I use this as a moisturiser I think that it actually works quite well, my skin looks healthy and plump, but it's not too greasy or heavy looking. My skin stays moist for longer too which is quite cool and it feels lovely underneath sunscreens that would normally be quite drying.
When used as a sleeping pack I find that my skin stays moisturised all night, and my skin looks slightly brighter in the morning. It's not a massive difference for me, so I'm glad that it is multi purpose otherwise I wouldn't be that thrilled by it.
What I Love
- Now comes in squeeze tubes which is very hygienic
- Easy to use
- Smells really nice
- Can be used as a moisturiser and sleeping pack
- Slightly brightening as a sleeping pack

What I Don't Love
- Nothing

Final Thoughts
Using this sleeping pack as a moisturiser has actually saved the product in general for me. I do use this as a sleeping pack, but to be honest I find it to be a little average, it gives my skin some moisture and it's a little brighter in the morning, but it's nothing substantial and I find that my skin does just fine without it. However, it is a really nice moisturiser for me to use during the day time which is so funny because I never would have used it as a moisturiser had I not read about it on the Wishtrend page while getting the product description for this review. It's easy to use, smells great and works well as a moisturiser.

I would recommend the Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask to any Princesses that are looking for a really gentle sleeping mask!

  1. Your skin definitely looks a bit calmer in the after photo! I recently got a sleeping pack too (Naruko Night Gelly) but I'm honestly not that blown away. Maybe it's a dud?
